I am auditioning for Willowcreek's 2010-2011 Shakespeare Competition Team.
Auditions will be held on May 6th and 7th after school in the auditorium. Auditions are for those who will be returning to Willowcreek next year. Students may also come to the competition as observers and not as competitors. They will participate in all the same activities as the competitors but instead of performing they will attend workshops offered by the festival. Those wishing to audition will need to memorize 2 contrasting Shakespeare monologues. Each monologue needs to be no longer than 30 seconds. They also need to sign up for an audition time on the sheet outside Ms. Jennings door. Both observers and performers need to pick up an audition packet from Ms. Jennings prior to the first audition day on May 6th. In it you will find info about the competition, audition forms, permission slips, my contact information, and a tentative rehearsal schedule and agenda. If you have any questions about the auditions, please come and talk to me or email me at [email protected] Break a leg! -MJ |
